Dr. Young Ahn serves as the Chief of Anesthesiology and Chief of Intensive Care Unit at Jiahui Health. He is also the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, with oversight of perioperative and acute care services at Jiahui Health.
Dr. Ahn received his MD in a combined accelerated honors program at the University of Illinois. He completed his residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School and fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at the University of California San Francisco / UCSF School of Medicine. After successful completion of training, he served as attending physician in intensive care medicine and anesthesiology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
Prior to joining Jiahui Health, Dr. Ahn was most recently with Kaiser Permanente in the Washington D.C. region, as part of the largest and oldest Health Maintenance Organizations in the United States. He served in various capacities, including medical director of perioperative services, chief of anesthesiology, and member of the national sourcing and standards team.
Dr. Ahn has a special interest in patient safety culture and practices with all members of the healthcare team. He believes high quality medical care is a continuum that starts at home and should be accessible to everyone, and continues to find ways to integrate technology, healthcare delivery systems, and the practice of medicine to achieve this.

安医生在伊利诺伊大学完成加速荣誉课程，获得医学博士学位。他在哈佛大学医学院附属麻省总医院完成住院医师培训，在加州大学旧金山分校医学院完成危重症医学专科医师培训。之后，他在加州大学洛杉矶分校担任重症监护及麻醉科主诊医师。
加入嘉会医疗之前，安医生就职于华盛顿的凯撒医疗，该集团为全美规模最大、历史最为悠久的健康维护组织之一。他曾担任该集团围手术期服务医疗总监、麻醉主任等多个职务，同时也是该集团全国采购与标准小组成员。
